Message 1. Most of these systems use pump speed to control delivery. Pumps don't respond fast enough. Aquamist has theirs setup more like a fuel injection system with constant pressure and then they vary the duty on the injector.
2. Snow performance's safe injection module is crap. It has an inherent flaw in that it isn't designed fail-safe. This means it should power its fail output all the time and then cut when in failure. It doesn't. I had one go bad on me and it isn't fun when that happens.
3. If you do go the water/meth route, please do it properly and plumb it into each cylinders runner. There is no way to get even distribution unless it is done this way.
4. Most of these controllers only deliver on a single parameter - boost pressure. The Aquamist unit uses many parameters to give you optimal delivery.
5. I would strongly recommend also using a J&S safeguard to detect knock so it can cut timing in the event of a problem. That said, you are far likely less to have an issue with an Aquamist kit.
